न्यायाधीशों की पीठ ने वायु गुणवत्ता प्रबंधन आयोग (CAQM) को निर्देश दिया कि वे उन हरियाणा और पंजाब के सरकारी अधिकारियों के खिलाफ दंडात्मक कार्रवाई करें जो violators के खिलाफ कार्रवाई नहीं कर रहे हैं। पीठ ने कहा कि यह राजनीतिक मामला नहीं है। अगर मुख्य सचिव किसी के निर्देश पर काम कर रहा है, तो हम उसके खिलाफ भी समन जारी करेंगे।
