Chandigarh: Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher announced on Sunday that the first group of protesting farmers will begin their march on foot from their protest site at the Shambhu barrier on December 6.
The Shambhu barrier is located on the Delhi-Amritsar National Highway at the border between Patiala (Punjab) and Ambala (Haryana), as well as the Khanauri border between the two states’ Sangrur and Jind districts, where a large number of farmers have been protesting since February 13.
