केंद्र सरकार पंजाड, हरियाणा, उत्तर प्रदेश और राजस्थान के लिए एक योजना बना रही है। CIFE, रोहतक की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, कुछ तरीकों को अपनाकर हरियाणा में 2942 एकड़ जमीन पर खाद्य जल के झींगे का उत्पादन हो रहा है, पंजाब में 1200 एकड़, राजस्थान में 1000 एकड़ और उत्तर प्रदेश में 20-25 एकड़। हरियाणा ने अपने दायरे का विस्तार करके 1200 एकड़ नए भूमि पर झींगा उत्पादन शुरू किया है। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, चारों राज्यों में झींगा उत्पादन की और भी संभावनाएं हैं।
90 दिनों में तैयार होता है झींगा
झींगा विशेषज्ञ डॉ. मनोज कुमार शर्मा बताते हैं कि 14-15 ग्राम वजन का झींगा तालाब में 70 से 80 दिनों में तैयार हो जाता है। यदि झींगा फार्मिंग में कोई कमी हो, तो अधिकतम 90 दिनों में इसे तैयार किया जा सकता है। यदि बड़े आकार के झींगे का उत्पादन करना हो, तो यह अधिकतम चार महीनों में यानी 120 दिनों में तैयार होगा। इस तरह, एक साल में आसानी से तीन से चार बार झींगे की फसल तैयार की जा सकती है।

14-15 ग्राम के झींगों की मांग
डॉ. मनोज ने बताया कि बाजार में सभी आकार के झींगों की मांग है, न केवल देश में बल्कि विदेशी बाजारों में भी। उदाहरण के लिए, चीन और अमेरिका में झींगे की बड़ी मात्रा में खपत होती है। यहां बड़े आकार के झींगे अधिक खाए जाते हैं। छोटे आकार जैसे 14 से 15 ग्राम के झींगों की सबसे अधिक मांग है। एक किलोग्राम में 60 से 70 झींगे होते हैं। 9 ग्राम के झींगे की भी बाजार में मांग है, लेकिन इसकी मांग कम है।

The annual production of shrimp in the country has crossed 10 lakh tonnes. 70 to 80 percent shrimp is exported. Only one area of Andhra Pradesh produces 40 to 45 thousand tonnes of shrimp. Shrimp production will increase in these four states of North India
The Central Government is preparing a plan for Punjab, Haryana, UP and Rajasthan of North India. According to a report of CIFE, Rohtak, by adopting some methods, brackish water prawns are being produced on 2942 acres of land in Haryana, 1200 acres in Punjab, 1000 acres in Rajasthan and 20-25 acres in Uttar Pradesh. Haryana has expanded its scope and started shrimp production on 1200 acres more new land. According to the report, there is still more potential for shrimp production in all four states.
Shrimp is ready in less than 3 months
Shrimp expert Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma says that shrimp weighing 14-15 grams gets ready in the pond in 70 to 80 days. Even if there is any shortcoming in shrimp farming, it can be made ready in maximum 90 days. If big size prawns are to be prepared then it will be ready in maximum four months i.e. 120 days. In this way, three to four crops of shrimp can be easily prepared in a year.
