अब पंजाब में रबी फसल की बुआई के लिए डायमोनियम फॉस्फेट (DAP) की कोई कमी नहीं होगी। कृषि मंत्री गुरमीत सिंह खूदियन ने सोमवार को किसान संगठनों को रबी फसलों की बुआई के लिए पर्याप्त DAP सप्लाई का आश्वासन दिया है। उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य को अब तक लगभग 1.77 लाख मीट्रिक टन DAP मिल चुका है। खूदियन ने कहा कि DAP के बराबर 51,612 मीट्रिक टन के कई फॉस्फेटिक विकल्प भी मिले हैं, जिससे कुल उपलब्धता 2.27 लाख मीट्रिक टन हो गई है। यह आवंटन किसानों की बुवाई के लिए जरूरत पूरी करने और कृषि उत्पादकता बढ़ाने के लिए सरकार के प्रयासों का हिस्सा है।

उन्होंने कहा कि किसी भी उत्पाद की ब्लैक मार्केटिंग या DAP और अन्य उर्वरकों के साथ किसी भी प्रकार का धोखाधड़ी सहन नहीं की जाएगी। मंत्री ने किसान नेताओं से अपील की कि ऐसे किसी भी मामले की सूचना दें ताकि दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की जा सके। खूदियन ने बताया कि अक्टूबर के लिए 2.50 लाख मीट्रिक टन DAP आवंटित किया गया है ताकि रबी सीजन की मांग पूरी की जा सके। उन्होंने बताया कि राज्य को पहले ही 22,204 मीट्रिक टन मिल चुका है, जबकि 15,000 मीट्रिक टन अभी ट्रांजिट में है।

गेहूं की बुआई 35 लाख हेक्टेयर में होगी

मंत्री के अनुसार, पंजाब में लगभग 35 लाख हेक्टेयर क्षेत्र में गेहूं की बुआई की उम्मीद है, जिसके लिए लगभग 5.50 लाख मीट्रिक टन DAP की आवश्यकता होगी। पंजाब सरकार ने पहले केंद्र से उर्वरकों की पर्याप्त सप्लाई सुनिश्चित करने की मांग की थी। किसान संगठनों के नेताओं द्वारा उठाए गए मुद्दों का समाधान करते हुए, खूदियन ने कहा कि 60 प्रतिशत DAP का आवंटन सहकारी सोसाइटियों को किया जाएगा, जबकि बाकी 40 प्रतिशत उर्वरक डीलरों को दिया जाएगा।

गेहूं की बुआई 15 अक्टूबर के बाद शुरू होगी

अगले महीने यह समाचार आया था कि पंजाब में गेहूं की बुआई से पहले DAP की कमी हो रही है। इससे किसानों की चिंताएं बढ़ गई हैं। उन्हें डर है कि गेहूं और सरसों की बुआई के समय पर्याप्त DAP उपलब्ध नहीं हो सकेगा, जिससे उपज पर भी असर पड़ सकता है। हालांकि, सरकार को उम्मीद है कि रबी सीजन के दौरान DAP की कोई कमी नहीं होगी। किसानों को पर्याप्त उर्वरक मिलने की उम्मीद है। इसी तरह, पंजाब में गेहूं की बुआई 15 अक्टूबर के बाद शुरू होती है, जबकि दक्षिण-पश्चिम जिलों में बुआई नवंबर के पहले सप्ताह से शुरू होती है। खास बात यह है कि किसानों को नकली उर्वरकों के संबंध में भी समस्याएं सामने आ रही हैं, क्योंकि राज्य में नकली खाद की बिक्री हो रही है।

He also said that black marketing or tagging of any product with DAP and other fertilizers will not be tolerated, The Times of India reported. The minister asked farmer leaders to report any such incident so that strict action can be ensured against the culprits. Khudian further said that 2.50 lakh metric tonnes (LMT) DAP was allocated for October to meet the demands of Rabi season. He said the state has already received 22,204 metric tonnes, while 15,000 metric tonnes is still in transit.

Wheat will be sown in 35 lakh hectares

According to the minister, Punjab is expected to sow wheat in about 35 lakh hectare area, for which about 5.50 lakh metric tonnes of DAP will be required. The Punjab government had earlier approached the Center to ensure adequate supply of fertilizers to the farmers of Punjab for the upcoming Rabi season. Addressing the concerns of farmer unions represented by Balbir Singh Rajewal, Ruldu Singh Mansa, Buta Singh Burjgil, Harinder Singh Lakhowal, Harmeet Singh Kadian and Raminder Singh, the minister said 60 per cent of the DAP will be allocated to cooperative societies, while The remaining 40 percent will go to fertilizer dealers.

Wheat sowing will start after October 15

Let us tell you that last month the news had come out that there is a shortage of DAP in Punjab even before the wheat sowing season. In such a situation, the concerns of farmers are increasing. They fear that sufficient quantity of DAP may not be available at the time of sowing of wheat and mustard. The yield may also be affected by this. However, the government is hopeful that there will be no shortage of DAP during the Rabi season. Farmers will get plenty of fertilizer. Similarly, in Punjab, sowing of wheat starts after October 15, whereas in south-west districts, sowing starts from the first week of November. The special thing is that farmers are also facing problems regarding fake fertilizers. Because fake paddy is being sold indiscriminately in the state.
