मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने केंद्र से खरीफ फसलों को न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य पर खरीदने की स्वीकृति मिलने के बाद पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है। मध्य प्रदेश सरकार ने किसानों को ज्वार, बाजरा और धान के लिए सरकारी खरीद के लिए पंजीकरण करने के लिए 14 अक्टूबर तक का समय दिया था। राज्य के कुछ जिलों में किसानों को हो रही समस्याओं को देखते हुए, सरकार ने पंजीकरण की अंतिम तारीख 1 दिन के लिए बढ़ा दी है।

पंजीकरण का तरीका

The registration process is underway after the Madhya Pradesh government got approval from the Center to purchase Kharif crops at the minimum support price. Madhya Pradesh government had given time till October 14 to farmers to register for government procurement of jowar, millet and paddy. In view of the problems of farmers in some districts of the state, the state government has extended the last date for registration by 1 day.
Madhya Pradesh government has asked the farmers of the state to buy their produce at MSP. An appeal has been made to the farmers to get themselves registered to sell their produce at government centres. More than 1400 centers have been set up district wise by the state government for crop procurement. According to the state government, the purchase price of farmers’ produce is being transferred to their bank accounts within 48 hours.

Paddy, millet and jowar farmers were given time till October 14 to register for crop sale. But, due to various reasons, the registration process remained very slow in some districts, due to which farmers of 6 districts could not get the registration done in time. Giving relief to such farmers, the state government has given time till 21st October.
Extended date for farmers of these districts
According to the information released by the Agriculture Department of Madhya Pradesh Government, the date of purchase of paddy, jowar and millet is being extended to 21 October 2024. This date has been extended for Narmadapuram district, Rewa, Satna, Singrauli, Damoh and Betul districts of the state. Farmers of these districts can register till October 21.
8 lakh farmers got registered
More than 7.66 lakh farmers have registered for selling crops at the minimum support price i.e. MSP. According to MP Agriculture Department, government procurement of coarse grains will start from November 22, 2024. Whereas, paddy will be procured from December 2.
Method of registration
- Farmers can register online and offline to sell their produce. According to the state government, Gram Panchayat, District Panchayat, Cooperative Society, MP farmers can register for free on the app.
- Registration can also be done through MP online kiosk, community service centre, cyber café by paying a fee of Rs 50.
- According to the state government, registration for Sikmi, Bataidar, Kotwar and forest lease holder farmers will be done only at the centers of cooperative society and marketing cooperative institution.
- For registration, farmers will have to provide land related documents, Aadhar card and photo identity card as well as bank passbook or bank account details.
