देशभर में रबी मौसम की फसलों की बुआई तेजी से हो रही है। इसके लिए किसानों को उर्वरक, अच्छी गुणवत्ता के बीज और कीटनाशकों की आवश्यकता होती है। लेकिन कुछ क्षेत्रों में पंजाब में किसानों को इन आवश्यक वस्तुओं की उपलब्धि में देरी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। इस शिकायत के बाद, राज्य सरकार ने निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए उड़न दस्ते (फ्लाइंग स्क्वॉड) को तैनात किया है।

राज्य कृषि मंत्री ने कहा कि यह उड़न दस्ता अवैध जमाखोरी और उर्वरकों की काला बाजारी को रोकने के लिए भी छापेमारी करेगा। उड़न दस्ते खुदरा विक्रेताओं और थोक विक्रेताओं के साथ-साथ बीज, उर्वरक और कीटनाशकों के निर्माण और विपणन इकाइयों में जाएंगे और उस stock, गुणवत्ता और कीमतों की निगरानी करेंगे, जिन पर ये किसानों को बेचे जाते हैं।
गलत ब्रांडिंग के कारण 43 लाइसेंस रद्द
कृषि मंत्री ने राज्य कृषि विभाग द्वारा 1 अप्रैल से 31 अक्टूबर तक किए गए गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण अभियान का डेटा जारी किया। उन्होंने कहा कि विभाग ने 2,063 कीटनाशकों के नमूने एकत्र किए, जिसमें से 43 लाइसेंस गलत ब्रांडिंग के लिए रद्द कर दिए गए और 3 के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज की गई। इसके अलावा, 1,751 रासायनिक उर्वरकों, 100 जैव-उर्वरकों के नमूने और 40 जैविक खाद के नमूने एकत्र किए गए हैं।

The flying squads will visit retailers and wholesalers as well as manufacturing and marketing units, firms of seeds, fertilizers and pesticides and monitor the stock, quality as well as prices at which they are sold to farmers.

The Agriculture Minister released the data of the quality control campaign conducted by the State Agriculture Department from April 1 to October 31.
