Increase of Rs 7 on cow milk
Earlier in the month of September, the Himachal Pradesh government had drastically increased the price of cow and buffalo milk to increase the income of cattle herders and ensure fair prices. The price of cow milk to the cattle farmers of the state has been increased from Rs 38 to Rs 45 per liter. Whereas, the purchase price of buffalo milk has been increased from Rs 47 to Rs 55 per liter.
