मंत्री दिनेश प्रताप सिंह ने कहा कि इस योजना के तहत, बागवानी विभाग द्वारा राज्य में प्रति हेक्टेयर 30 हजार रुपये की लागत निर्धारित की गई है। इसमें, किसानों को प्रति हेक्टेयर 40 प्रतिशत की सब्सिडी यानी अधिकतम 12 हजार रुपये मिलेगी। यह सब्सिडी प्रत्येक किसान को न्यूनतम 0.2 हेक्टेयर से लेकर अधिकतम 4.0 हेक्टेयर भूमि पर उपलब्ध होगी। लहसुन के बीज किसानों को राष्ट्रीय बागवानी अनुसंधान और विकास संस्थान, नई दिल्ली द्वारा उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे। बीज की कीमत 370 से 390 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम रखी गई है।
