Washington, D.C. – The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) is pleased to announce that it has received four awards totaling $110 million from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to support essential school meal programs in Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Laos, and Rwanda. This funding will benefit nearly half a million children and their communities across more than 1,600 pre-primary and primary schools in these four countries.
