The Texas A&M System Board of Regents meeting in November discussed five construction projects for the main campus.
After nearly three years of planning, construction of the new Veterinary Education and Research Facility at Texas A&M is set to begin in January 2025. A new two-story building will be built after the existing veterinary building on Raymond Stotzer Parkway and Agronomy Road is demolished. If the weather is favorable, the $181 million complex is expected to be completed by June 2027.
Two utility plant projects were also approved. The electrical generator at the central utility plant located on the main campus will be replaced.
