कैथल मंडी में अनाज बेचने आए किसान रिषिपाल ने बताया कि उनका अनाज बाहर रखने से काला हो रहा है। यदि एक हफ्ते में उनका अनाज नहीं बिकता है, तो उन्हें इसे बेहद कम कीमत पर बेचना पड़ेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि धान की ढेर की सुरक्षा के लिए उन्हें हर रात 1,000 रुपये का भुगतान करना पड़ता है। इसी तरह, कसन गांव के महेश सिंह पिछले 9 दिनों से अपनी फसल बेचने की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर उनकी फसल बिक जाती है, तो वो वोट डालने जाएंगे, नहीं तो वह वोट नहीं डाल पाएंगे।
