पंजाब में पराली जलाने के मामलों में तेजी आई है। पूरे राज्य में एक दिन में 123 घटनाएँ दर्ज की गईं। खासकर अमृतसर जिले में सबसे ज्यादा 50 घटनाएँ हुईं। इसके बाद पटियाला में 18, तरनतारन में 13, संगरूर में 11 और फिरोजपुर में 11 मामले सामने आए हैं। इस स्थिति को लेकर राज्य सरकार की चिंताएँ बढ़ रही हैं। हालांकि, पराली जलाने की घटनाओं को कम करने के लिए अधिकारी गांवों में जाकर किसानों को जागरूक कर रहे हैं।

द ट्रिब्यून की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, अब तक अमृतसर जिले में सबसे ज्यादा पराली जलाने के मामले सामने आए हैं। यहां अब तक 157 घटनाएँ हुई हैं, जिससे यह पता चलता है कि अमृतसर राज्य में पराली जलाने की 40 प्रतिशत घटनाओं में योगदान दे रहा है। पंजाब प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष आदर्श पल वीक के अनुसार, स्थिति पर करीब से नज़र रखी जा रही है। पिछले साल की तुलना में पराली जलाने की घटनाओं में 63 प्रतिशत की कमी आई है। 15 सितंबर से अब तक कुल 390 घटनाएँ दर्ज की गई हैं, जबकि पिछले साल इसी अवधि में यह संख्या 1,037 थी।

इस बीच, बोर्ड ने कार्रवाई तेज कर दी है। आदर्श पाल वीक ने बताया कि अब तक राज्य के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में 212 दोषियों के खिलाफ कार्यवाही की गई है। 89 दोषियों पर 2.72 लाख रुपये का पर्यावरण मुआवजा लगाया गया है और अब तक 2.5 लाख रुपये की वसूली की गई है। आमदनी विभाग ने उन लोगों के भूमि रिकॉर्ड में 69 रेड एंट्री दर्ज की है, जो पराली जलाते हैं। ऐसे मामलों में कुल 10 एफआईआर भी दर्ज की गई हैं। पटियाला जिले के किसान पंजीकरण प्रक्रिया में धीमी गति के खिलाफ विरोध जताने के लिए पराली जला रहे हैं।

16,653 मीट्रिक टन धान की हुई आवक

इसी बीच, कुछ समय पहले खबर आई थी कि अमृतसर जिले के बाजारों में धान की आवक और खरीद पिछले हफ्ते की तुलना में बढ़ी है। बुधवार की शाम को बाजारों में 16,653 मीट्रिक टन धान आई। खास बात यह है कि सरकारी खरीद एजेंसियाँ और दलाल भी खरीद प्रक्रिया में सक्रिय रूप से शामिल हो गए हैं। उप आयुक्त साक्षी सहनी ने कहा कि खरीद एजेंसियों को निर्देशित किया गया है कि वे किसानों को धान उठाने के 48 घंटे के भीतर भुगतान करें। उन्होंने बताया कि अब तक एजेंसियों ने किसानों को 7.97 करोड़ रुपये का वितरण किया है।

Fine imposed on 89 defaulters

Farmers in Patiala district are setting fire to stubble to register their protest against the alleged slow pace of paddy procurement and lifting.

16,653 metric tons of paddy arrived

At the same time, news had come out some time ago that the arrival and purchase of paddy in the markets of Amritsar district has increased compared to last week. On Wednesday evening, 16,653 metric tons of paddy arrived in the grain markets. The special thing is that government procurement agencies and commission agents have also started actively participating in the procurement process. Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sahni said that procurement agencies have been asked to make payment to farmers in exchange for their paddy within 48 hours of the grains being lifted. He said that the agencies have so far distributed Rs 7.97 crore to the farmers.
