In this matter, Jhajjar Deputy Commissioner Shakti Singh said that a total arrival of 34,363 metric tonnes of millet has been recorded in the district. Out of this, 31,908 metric tonnes have been purchased by government agencies and 83 percent millet has been lifted from the mandis.
The Deputy Commissioner said, “Employees of Marketing Board, Agriculture Department and Revenue Department are deployed in every grain market to resolve the complaints of farmers on the spot.
