According to the report of ‘The Tribune’, in the affidavit, the Center mentioned the steps taken by the Haryana government from its budget. Said that to stop stubble burning there, an incentive amount of Rs 1 lakh is being given to Red Zone Panchayats and Rs 50,000 to Yellow Zone Panchayats.
Apart from this, under ‘Mera Pani Meri Virasat Yojana’, the state government is giving Rs 7,000 per acre as incentive for alternative crops in paddy cultivated areas and Rs 4,000 per acre for adopting direct sowing of rice, due to which There has been a decline in the incidents of stubble burning in Haryana.
