महाराष्ट्र में MSP से 600 रुपये कम कीमत

Congress leader Nana Patole has said that the current cotton price in Maharashtra is between Rs 6,500 to Rs 6,600 per quintal, which is about Rs 600 less than the minimum support price MSP of Rs 7,122. The Congress leader claimed that farmers are avoiding selling their cotton due to low prices in the market. He said that the cotton stock is available with the farmers as well as the Indian Cotton Association. When there is already plenty of stock, the Center has been asked to stop cotton import. So that the cotton market can be prevented from collapsing and farmers can be saved from losses.
