कृषि मंत्री ने कहा कि आज राज्य में 3.72 लाख टन खाद उपलब्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि 1.75 लाख मीट्रिक टन डीएपी और 1.97 लाख मीट्रिक टन एनपीके उपलब्ध है। उन्होंने बताया कि 1 नवंबर से 17 नवंबर के बीच उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार को केंद्रीय सरकार से कुल 117 रैक फॉस्फेट खाद प्राप्त होनी है। इनमें से 75 रैक खाद मिल चुकी है, जिसमें 2.39 लाख मीट्रिक टन डीएपी और 83000 मीट्रिक टन एनपीके की आपूर्ति की गई है। जबकि 42 रैक खाद अभी रास्ते में हैं, जो 2 से 3 दिनों में आने की संभावना है।
