He said that when farmers stop administration officials and employees in the fields, they ask them to burn the stubble after 4 pm, because satellite photos are not taken after 4 pm.

ADC gave this information
Regarding incidents of stubble burning, Moga ADC Charumita said that the district administration is continuously making efforts to stop farmers from burning stubble. Still, at some places farmers are burning stubble in the fields. Separate teams have been formed by the district administration, which include all the DSPs, SHOs and officers of other departments of the district. DC sir and SSP sir are also going to the fields and making the farmers aware that they should not burn the stubble.
There are around 7500 machines for stubble management in the district. If farmers help each other, they can sow Rabi crops without burning stubble. The officer said that as per the instructions of the Supreme Court, if any farmer burns stubble, there is a rule to issue a red entry against him and impose a fine and register a case.
