इस साल देश में सर्दी की कम सक्रियता ने किसानों के लिए समस्याएं खड़ी कर दी हैं। कई राज्यों में सर्दी कम होने की वजह से कई रबी फसलों पर असर पड़ा है। ऐसा ही एक मामला उत्तर प्रदेश के औरैया जिले से आया है। यहाँ के किसान आलू की कम उपज से बहुत चिंतित हैं। उत्पादन में कमी ने किसानों की मुश्किलें बढ़ा दी हैं। किसानों के चेहरों पर चिंता की लकीरें साफ दिख रही हैं। किसानों का कहना है कि इस साल सर्दी देर से आई है, जिससे आलू की मुख्य फसल पर बहुत खराब असर पड़ा है।
गर्मी से उपज में कमी
औरैया के किसानों ने आलू की फसल को दिन-रात मेहनत करके तैयार किया था। उन्हें उम्मीद थी कि आलू की फसल से अच्छा मुनाफा होगा। लेकिन आलू की फसल बहुत प्रभावित हुई है। यहाँ के एक वृद्ध किसान कृष्णा ने बताया कि इस साल उनकी तुलना में बहुत अधिक नुकसान हुआ है। उन्होंने कहा कि उपज की उम्मीद के मुकाबले बहुत कम रही। किसान ने उत्पादन में कमी का कारण गर्मी बताया। उन्होंने कहा कि इस साल की फसल अच्छी नहीं रही, जबकि पिछले साल उत्पादन बहुत अच्छा था।

एक और किसान श्याम मनोहर ने बताया कि उन्होंने अपने 10 बीघा के खेत में आलू की फसल लगाई थी। लेकिन इस साल अच्छी उपज नहीं हो पाने के कारण उन्हें अपनी लागत वसूल करना मुश्किल हो रहा है। वे इस बारे में बहुत चिंतित हैं। उनके जैसे कई अन्य किसान भी आलू की उम्मीद में लगे थे, लेकिन उच्च तापमान ने उत्पादन में भारी कमी कर दी है। इससे किसानों को बहुत नुकसान हो रहा है।
सर्दी की कमी का आलू उत्पादन पर असर
