सरकार ने धान की खरीद प्रक्रिया को सुचारू किया है। मंडियों और खरीद केंद्रों में सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए गए हैं और प्रणाली की निगरानी के लिए आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (AI) तकनीक का उपयोग किया जा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि यदि किसानों का शोषण किया जाता है तो दोषियों को जेल जाना पड़ेगा। उन्होंने कहा कि 20 नवंबर को खरीद शुरू होने के बाद, शनिवार तक, बर्गर, बलांगीर, नुआपाड़ा, कलाहांडी और संबलपुर के 21,500 किसानों ने बिना किसी कटौती या शोषण के अपना धान बेचा है।
