भारतीय बीज सहकारी समाज लिमिटेड (BBSSL) की दूसरी वार्षिक सामान्य बैठक आईएफएफसीओ मुख्यालय पर शनिवार को आयोजित की गई। मल्टी-स्टेट कोऑपरेटिव सोसाइटी – भारतीय बीज सहकारी समाज को 2023 में सहकारी मंत्री अमित शाह के निर्देश पर किसानों की आय बढ़ाने और बेहतर गुणवत्ता और उच्च पैदावार के लिए बनाया गया था। BBSSL के अध्यक्ष और IFFCO के विपणन निदेशक योगेंद्र कुमार ने कहा कि पांचवें वित्तीय वर्ष के अंत तक अनुमानित कारोबार 15,000 करोड़ रुपये होने का अनुमान है।

11759 आवेदकों को शेयर प्रमाणपत्र जारी किए जाएंगे
भारतीय बीज सहकारी समाज लिमिटेड ने वित्तीय वर्ष की शुरुआत से सदस्यता अभियान शुरू किया था। प्रस्ताव के अनुसार, कुल 11759 आवेदकों को शेयर प्रमाणपत्र जारी किए जाएंगे। 14 आवेदकों की आवेदन वापिस कर दी गई है। योगेंद्र कुमार ने सभी समितियों से अनुरोध किया कि वे जल्द से जल्द पंजीकरण कराएं। किसान भी ऐप के जरिए पंजीकरण कर सकते हैं।
समिति के नियंत्रण और दिशा-निर्देश के लिए पांच प्रमोटिंग संस्थानों (IFFCO, CARIBHCO, NAFED, NCDC और ANDDB) से एक-एक प्रतिनिधि चुनकर एक अंतरिम बोर्ड का गठन किया गया है। कानूनी आवश्यकताओं को पूरा करने के लिए जुलाई 2023 में एक नियमित बोर्ड का गठन किया गया और बोर्ड सदस्यों के चुनाव के बाद, योगेंद्र कुमार को सर्वसम्मति से बोर्ड के अध्यक्ष के रूप में منتخب किया गया।
