बलोर सिंह ने बताया कि जैसे ही सुबह ट्रेन आई, डीएपी के उतारने से रोका गया। उन्होंने कहा कि मोगा जिले में डीएपी की कमी है। किसानों को अगली फसल बोने में परेशानी हो रही है। मोगा में पुलिस अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक के बाद एक समझौता हुआ जिसमें 2500 बैग बारनाला भेजे जाएंगे। बाकी 23,500 बैग मोगा जिले में रहेंगे। इसमें से 40 प्रतिशत खाद निजी दुकानों में और 60 प्रतिशत सहकारिताओं को भेजी जाएगी। बलोर सिंह ने कहा कि डीएपी खाद हमारे सामने ही दी जाएगी ताकि कोई धोखाधड़ी न हो सके। हम पूरी तरह से तैयार हैं यह सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कि मोगा के किसानों को डीएपी मिल सके। हम तब तक वहीं रहेंगे जब तक वाहन मोगा से नहीं चले जाते।

Regarding the incident, Balor Singh, leader of Farmers Union Ugrahan, said that he had received information that today on Wednesday, a goods train carrying DAP was coming to Moga railway station which had 26 thousand bags of DAP fertilizer. The Punjab government has made arrangements to send 20 thousand sacks for the vote bank in the by-election being held in Barnala and the remaining 6 thousand sacks will be distributed in Moga. To stop this, our group had kept a guard at the station since Tuesday night.

Balor Singh said, as soon as the train arrived in the morning, the DAP was stopped from unloading. He said that DAP is not available in Moga district. Farmers are facing problems in sowing the next crop. After a meeting with police officials in Moga, an agreement was reached in which 2500 bags of fertilizer will be sent to Barnala. The remaining 23500 bags will remain in Moga district. Out of this, 40 percent fertilizer will be given in private shops and 60 percent will be sent to societies. Balor Singh said that DAP fertilizer will be supplied in our presence so that no manipulation can take place. We are fully prepared to ensure that farmers can get DAP in Moga. We will remain at the spot until the vehicle leaves Moga.
