कृषकों को रबी मौसम की बुवाई के दौरान खाद की कमी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। इस समस्या को देखते हुए उत्तर प्रदेश के कृषि मंत्री सूर्य प्रताप शाही ने शनिवार को लखनऊ में विधान भवन में कृषि विभाग और पीसीएफ के वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के साथ बैठक के बाद आवश्यक निर्देश दिए। इस दौरान मंत्री शाही ने रेल मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव से फोन पर बात की और उन्हें खाद की आपूर्ति में कमी की जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि रबी फसलों की बुवाई को ध्यान में रखते हुए राज्य में आने वाली खाद की रैक को प्राथमिकता दी जानी चाहिए।
उत्तर प्रदेश में खाद की कमी का कारण क्या है?

सूर्य प्रताप शाही ने कहा कि सहयोगिता के प्रमुख सचिव से अपेक्षा की गई है कि आईFFCO और KRIBHCO के अलावा अन्य निजी कंपनियों को भी PACS के माध्यम से कम से कम 30 प्रतिशत खाद की आपूर्ति करनी चाहिए। खाद के वितरण के लिए जिला मजिस्ट्रेटों को राजस्व विभाग के अधिकारियों और कर्मचारियों के लिए ड्यूटी लगाने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं, ताकि किसानों की आवश्यकता के अनुसार खाद का वितरण हो सके।

Farmers are facing problems for fertilizer during Rabi season sowing. During this, Agriculture Minister Shahi spoke to Union Railway Minister Avashwani Vaishnay on phone and informed about the non-complete supply of fertilizer. He said that in view of the current sowing of Rabi crops, priority should be given to the fertilizer rakes coming to the state.
Why is there shortage of fertilizer in UP?
Instructions were given by the Minister that all the fertilizer manufacturing/supplier organizations, State Marketing Managers of Uttar Pradesh were directed to supply 100 percent of the phosphate fertilizer allocation received by the Government of India for the month of November, 2024. The present fertilizer manufacturers/suppliers have been informed by the State Marketing Managers of Uttar Pradesh that the fertilizer racks dispatched from the port/plant to the state are taking more time to reach and there is availability of fertilizer at Paradip Port, but the racks are not available. Due to non-availability, there is difficulty in dispatching the available stock to Uttar Pradesh.
Conversation also took place with Agriculture Ministry officials
Along with this, the Agriculture Minister met Rajat Kumar Mishra, Secretary, Ministry of Fertilizers, Government of India and Devesh Chaturvedi, Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, from Kandla Port in the districts in the western region of the state and in the districts where the crops are being harvested by the farmers. Sowing is being done at a rapid pace.
In view of this, a phone call was held and necessary action was taken regarding supply of fertilizers to those districts on priority basis as per the sent list of districts with less availability.
Instructions given by all the District Magistrates of the state
Shahi said that it was expected from the Principal Secretary, Cooperatives that along with IFFCO and KRIBHCO, other private sector companies should also supply at least 30 percent of the fertilizers through PACS. Ensure necessary action is taken for this. For the fertilizer distribution system in the districts, the concerned District Magistrate should impose duty on Revenue Department officers and employees as per requirement and distribute fertilizers as per the requirement of the farmers.
UP government ensuring supply of fertilizers
Agriculture Minister Shahi has given instructions to ensure the supply of phosphatic fertilizers like DAP (N-18, P-46) in all the districts on priority. Shahi said that rakes are on the way for Mainpuri, Hathras, Ayodhya, Ambedkarnagar, Muzaffarnagar and Agra districts, which are likely to reach soon. Keeping in mind the last year’s consumption, instructions have been given to make the fertilizers coming on priority basis directly from the rake point to the nearby districts, where there is shortage of fertilizers.
Farmers do not need to worry about fertilizer
Minister Surya Pratap Shahi has asked officers to go to the field to ensure smooth fertilizer distribution. Black marketing, over rating and no buyer should purchase fertilizers in more quantity than the crop sown in his holding/agricultural land. Instructions have also been given to ensure its arrangements. He said, where there is a possibility of shortage of fertilizers in the cooperative sector, fertilizers should be taken from the concerned warehouses as per the immediate requirement and made available to the farmers for sale.
2.00 lakh metric tonnes of DAP present in the state
Instructions have been given to ensure availability of fertilizers on priority basis in the areas where sowing of crops is being done by the farmers. In the state, 2.00 lakh metric tonnes of DAP and 2.47 lakh metric tonnes of NPK fertilizers are available for purchase by farmers. UP Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi has said that farmers do not need to worry about fertilizers.
