ढाका, 27 अक्टूबर, 2024 (बीएसएस) – बांग्लादेश रेलवे (बीआर) ने किसानों और व्यापारियों को कम लागत पर अपनी विशेष ट्रेनों द्वारा देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में कृषि और अन्य सामान पहुंचाने के लिए प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए कदम उठाए हैं।
बीआर ने पहली स्पेशल 22 अक्टूबर को जशोर से, दूसरी 24 अक्टूबर को पंचागढ़ से और तीसरी ट्रेन शनिवार को राजशाही से शुरू की।
बीआर के महानिदेशक एमडी ने कहा, “हमने कमोडिटी की कीमतों को सहनीय स्तर पर लाने के सरकार के कदम के तहत किसानों और व्यापारियों को कम लागत पर देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में कृषि और अन्य सामान पहुंचाने की पेशकश करने के लिए तीन विशेष ट्रेनें शुरू की हैं।” सरदार शहादत अली ने बीएसएस को बताया।

खुलना से ढाका तक माल ले जाने वाली ट्रेन का किराया 1.47 टका प्रति किलोग्राम, जशोरे-ढाका 1.35 टका प्रति किलोग्राम, चुआडांगा-ढाका 1.30 टका प्रति किलोग्राम, ईश्वरडी-ढाका 1.08 प्रति किलोग्राम, पारबोटीपुर-ढाका 1.08 प्रति किलोग्राम निर्धारित किया गया है। 1.34 प्रति किलोग्राम, जॉयपुरहाट-ढाका 1.30 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम, संथार-ढाका 1.19 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम, राजशाही-ढाका 1.18 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और रोहनपुर-ढाका 1.30 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम।

Dhaka, October 27, 2024 (BSS) – Bangladesh Railways (BR) has taken steps to encourage farmers and merchants to deliver agricultural and other goods at a low cost across various parts of the country using their special trains.
The first special train was launched on October 22 from Jashore, the second on October 24 from Panchagarh, and the third train started on Saturday from Rajshahi.
BR’s Director General MD Sardar Shahadat Ali told BSS, “As part of the government’s efforts to bring commodity prices to an affordable level, we have introduced three special trains to enable farmers and traders to transport agricultural and other items across the country at a low cost.”
Already, leaders and activists from the anti-discrimination student movement are selling essential goods at fair prices in various districts of the country.
BR sources mentioned that each special train has the capacity to carry 120 tons of goods daily, with fruits and vegetables being transported in advanced cargo vans.
Additionally, frozen products like fish, meat, and milk can also be transported in refrigerated cargo vans.
The freight rates for transporting goods from Khulna to Dhaka are set at 1.47 BDT per kilogram, Jashore to Dhaka at 1.35 BDT per kilogram, Chuadanga to Dhaka at 1.30 BDT per kilogram, Ishwardi to Dhaka at 1.08 BDT per kilogram, Parbotipur to Dhaka at 1.08 BDT per kilogram, Joypurhat to Dhaka at 1.30 BDT per kilogram, Santhar to Dhaka at 1.19 BDT per kilogram, Rajshahi to Dhaka at 1.18 BDT per kilogram, and Rohanpur to Dhaka at 1.30 BDT per kilogram.
