The WEIDE Fund will unlock opportunities for women in international and digital trade by improving access through grants and support from financial institutions to bridge financing gaps; providing technical assistance and training to enhance digital skills and export competitiveness; connecting more women to export markets aimed at digital platforms; and creating a more inclusive and effective business ecosystem through networking and support services in partnership with private and public sectors.
The WTO and ITC aim to raise $50 million for the fund from public and private sector partners, with an initial target of $25 million.
