A police officer stated that the latest incident of burning farmhouses occurred late Saturday night in the Nungkhai area, where suspected extremists set fire to two abandoned farmhouses belonging to the head of the Hillghat village council, L. Somorendro.
Fortunately, there were no casualties because no one was present in the farmhouses at the time.
