पंजाब-हरियाणा से लेकर दिल्ली तक, पराली जलाने का मुद्दा हमेशा चर्चा में रहता है। राज्य सरकारें एक-दूसरे पर पराली जलाने का दोष लगाती हैं। इसी बीच किसानों के खिलाफ भी कार्रवाई की जा रही है। हर साल पराली को लेकर विवाद होता है और ये आरोप लगाया जाता है कि पराली जलाने से दिल्ली-एनसीआर में वायु प्रदूषण बढ़ता है। पंजाब, हरियाणा और यूपी के किसानों पर पराली जलाने का आरोप लगता है। लेकिन केंद्रीय बकरी अनुसंधान संस्थान (CIRG), मथुरा ने इस समस्या का एक समाधान खोजा है।

प्रमुख वैज्ञानिक रविंद्र कुमार ने बताया कि अगर आप आलू और पराली से जानवरों के लिए चारा बनाना चाहते हैं तो आलू और पराली की समान मात्रा लें और इसे सिलेज बैग में भर दें। बैग को अच्छे से बंद करके 60 दिन के लिए एक तरफ रख दें। इस दौरान बैग की निगरानी करते रहें। इसके बाद, नॉन-एरोबिक स्थिति के कारण पराली और आलू में बदलाव आएगा। इसके बाद यह बकरियों, गायों और भैंसों के लिए खाने योग्य हो जाएगा। यह पूरी तरह से सिलेज के समान होगा। सबसे बड़ी बात यह है कि इसे बकरियों को लंबे समय तक खिलाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। इस शोध के हिस्से के रूप में, जब तैयार चारा बकरियों को रोजाना दिया गया, तो पाया गया कि आलू-पराली से बने चारे खाने वाली बकरियों का वजन प्रतिदिन 40 ग्राम बढ़ रहा था।

Principal Scientist Ravindra Kumar said that if you are going to make fodder for animals from potatoes and stubble, then take equal quantity of both stubble and potatoes and fill them in a silage bag. After closing the bag properly, keep it aside for 60 days. Keep monitoring the bag. After this, formation will take place in stubble and potatoes due to N-aerobic condition. After which it will become edible not only for goats but also for cows and buffaloes. It will be completely similar to silage. The biggest thing is that it can be operated for a long time to feed the goats. There was a big benefit of feeding this fodder to goats. As part of the research, when prepared fodder was fed to the goats daily, it was found that the weight of the goats who were eating fodder made from potato-straw was increasing by 40 grams daily.

Talking about the cost of making silage, Ravindra Kumar said that it would cost a whopping Rs 500 to prepare 50 kg of silage from potato stubble.
