Tuna Investors Meet: Preparation to touch the target of Rs 1 lakh crore in seafood export with the help of tuna, read details | (“तूना निवेशक बैठक: समुद्री निर्यात में 1 लाख करोड़ का लक्ष्य”)

अभी भारत से समुद्री खाद्य का निर्यात लगभग 65 हजार करोड़ रुपये हो रहा है, लेकिन जल्द ही 1 लाख करोड़ रुपये का लक्ष्य पाने की तैयारी की जा रही है। इसमें सबसे अधिक योगदान झींगा का है। अब, ट्यूना की मदद से इस लक्ष्य को पाने की कोशिश की जा रही है। यही कारण है कि अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह में निवेशकों की एक बैठक आयोजित की जा रही है। यह बैठक आज से शुरू हो गई है और इसे केन्द्रीय मत्स्य पालन, पशुपालन और डेयरी मंत्रालय द्वारा आयोजित किया गया है।

इस मौके पर केन्द्रीय मंत्री राजीव रंजन सिंह ने कहा कि आज दुनिया में ट्यूना का व्यवसाय 40 अरब डॉलर का है। जबकि अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह में ट्यूना मछली की भरपूर संख्या है। यहाँ 6 लाख वर्ग किलोमीटर का विशेष आर्थिक क्षेत्र है, जिसमें 60 हजार मीट्रिक टन उच्च मूल्य की ट्यूना है। इसमें 24 हजार मीट्रिक टन येलोफिन और 2 हजार मीट्रिक टन स्किपजैक शामिल हैं। लेकिन वर्तमान में केवल 4420 मीट्रिक टन ट्यूना मछली पकड़ी जा रही है।

अंडमान की ट्यूना को विदेश में बेचने की तैयारी

भारत सरकार के मत्स्य पालन विभाग ने हाल ही में पीएमएमएसवाई के तहत अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह में ट्यूना क्लस्टर बनाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की है। इससे ट्यूना मछली के परिवहन को मजबूत करने, वैश्विक प्रतिस्पर्धा को बढ़ावा देने, बुनियादी ढांचे का निर्माण, निवेश एकत्र करने, प्रशिक्षण और क्षमता निर्माण में आसानी होगी। इस मौके पर मंत्री जी ने कहा कि अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह से निर्यात बढ़ाने की पूरी संभावना है। इसके लिए गहरी समुद्री मछली पकड़ने को बढ़ावा देने और प्रसंस्करण सुविधाओं का विकास करने की आवश्यकता है। उन्होंने अंडमान में आधुनिक मछली पकड़ने की अवसंरचना बनाने की बात भी की।

लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर एडमिरल डीके जोशी ने इस अवसर पर मछली पालन क्षेत्र की प्रमुख चुनौतियों का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया से सीमित संपर्क के कारण लॉजिस्टिक्स की समस्याएं हैं। एमपीईडीए और ईआईसी कार्यालयों की कमी (चेनई निकटतम कार्यालय है) के कारण व्यापार अनुमोदन में देरी हो रही है। बेहतर परिवहन अवसंरचना का अभाव है। हालांकि, इन चुनौतियों को दूर करने के लिए 16 नवंबर 2024 को अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह को दक्षिण पूर्व एशिया से कुआलालंपुर, इंडोनेशिया के साथ जोड़ने वाली एक सीधी उड़ान शुरू की जाएगी। इसके साथ ही, अंडमान और निकोबार द्वीप समूह से समुद्री खाद्य का निर्यात बढ़ाने के लिए एमपीईडीए और ईआईसी ने पोर्ट ब्लेयर में डेस्क कार्यालय स्थापित किए हैं। इससे व्यापार अनुमोदन के कार्य को तेजी मिलेगी और संचालन सुगम बनेगा।

This is how preparations are being made to sell Andaman tuna abroad

Department of Fisheries, Government of India has recently started creating Tuna Cluster in Andaman and Nicobar Islands under PMMSY. The benefit from this will be that it will be easier to work on strengthening transport in tuna fisheries, promoting global competitiveness, creating infrastructure, investing in investor participation, training and capacity building. On this occasion, the Union Minister said that there is full scope to increase exports from Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Not only this, to achieve the export target there is a need to promote deep sea fishing and develop processing facilities. He also talked about creation of modern fishing infrastructure in Andaman and Nicobar.

Lieutenant Governor Admiral DK Joshi, on the other hand, talked about the major challenges faced by the fisheries sector, saying logistics issues due to limited connectivity with South East Asia, absence of MPEDA and EIC offices (Chennai is the nearest office) Due to which there was delay in business approval. There is a lack of better transport infrastructure. However, to overcome these challenges, a direct flight connecting Andaman and Nicobar Islands with Southeast Asia to Kuala Lumpur, Indonesia is going to be inaugurated on November 16, 2024. Also, to promote seafood exports from Andaman and Nicobar Islands, MPEDA and EIC have set up desk offices in Port Blair. This will speed up the work of business approval and facilitate smooth operations.
