Recently, Minister Mrs. Uike was addressing the animal distribution program to the cattle farmers under the Chief Minister Milch Cattle Supply Scheme organized by the office of Deputy Director Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department. The minister said that animal husbandry has been our ancient tradition. With the help of animals we used to do farming work, milk production and manure collection. Therefore, animal husbandry is very important for us. He said that through the schemes of the Veterinary Department, free milch animals are provided to the beneficiaries for animal husbandry, so that animal husbandry can be promoted. The Animal Husbandry Department also provides food and medicines for the treatment of animals to the animal farmers. In the program organized, the Minister benefited the beneficiaries of development block Narayanganj under the Chief Minister Milch Cattle Supply Scheme by providing them 2 buffaloes each. Mrs. Uike also distributed animal feed to the beneficiaries. On this occasion, District Panchayat member Mrs. Anita, Sarpanch Mr. Shersingh, District member Mr. Ajay, Deputy Director of Veterinary Department Dr. US Tiwari and cattle herders were present.
