Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given the green signal to the second phase of Nand Baba Milk Mission to increase the income of the cow farmers of the state, make them self-reliant and increase inclination towards indigenous breed of cows. In such a situation, the Yogi government will spend Rs 74 crore 21 lakh in the financial year 2024-25 to approve various schemes under the mission. This will benefit more than 10 thousand cow farmers of the state and their income will increase.
Benefits of Chief Minister Swadeshi Cow Promotion Scheme
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had launched the Nand Baba Milk Mission last year to increase the income of cow farmers and to increase inclination towards indigenous breed of cows. CM Yogi had made a provision of funds of Rs 1 thousand crore for this five-year mission. Under this, CM Yogi has given the green signal to the second phase of the mission. With this step of CM Yogi, 2566 beneficiaries will get the benefit of Chief Minister Swadeshi Cow Promotion Scheme in the current financial year. A budget of Rs 2052.40 lakh is provisioned for this.
Similarly, 7028 people will get the benefit of Chief Minister Progressive Animal Husbandry Incentive Scheme. Rs 790 lakh will be spent for this. Whereas 90 beneficiaries will get benefit of Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana. Rs 1015 lakh will be spent in this scheme. Budget released for these schemes
200 people will be given the benefit of ABIP-IBF ETT Scheme operated under Rashtriya Gokul Mission, on which Rs 25 lakh will be spent. Rs 60 lakh will be spent to develop the Nand Baba Milk Mission portal. Whereas 294 people will be given the benefit of Nandini Krishak Samriddhi Yojana (New Scheme).
Rs 1730.08 lakh will be spent on this item. Apart from this, Rs 237.60 lakh has been allocated for the operation of State Program Management Unit (SPMU), Rs 214 lakh has been allocated for the operation of District Program Management Unit (DPMU) in 18 districts. In this sequence, Rs 450 lakh will be spent for the construction of a laboratory in the project of sex sorted semen production in bovine animals at Ultra Frozen Semen Production Centre, Rehmankheda, Lucknow.
