हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने धान खरीद में लापरवाही के खिलाफ बड़े कदम उठाए हैं। उन्होंने दो कर्मचारियों को निलंबित करने का निर्देश दिया। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि किसानों और कमीशन एजेंटों को मंडियों में धान खरीदने में किसी प्रकार की समस्या नहीं होनी चाहिए। जैसे ही किसानों का धान बाजार में आए, उसे संबंधित एजेंसी के नियमों के अनुसार खरीदना सुनिश्चित करें। यदि लाडवा में धान की खरीद में लापरवाही हुई तो HAFED के मैनेजर/इंस्पेक्टर कुलदीप जांगड़ा और DFSC विभाग के इंस्पेक्टर संदीप अहलावत को निलंबित करने के निर्देश दिए गए। मुख्यमंत्री शुक्रवार को पीपली, लाडवा और बबैन मंडी का दौरा कर रहे थे।

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has taken major action against negligence in purchasing paddy in Haryana. He directed to suspend two employees. In the same sequence, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini said that farmers and commission agents should not face any kind of problem in purchasing paddy in the mandis. As soon as the farmers’ paddy arrives in the market, make sure to buy it as per the concerned agency rules. Instructions were given to suspend HAFED Manager/Inspector Kuldeep Jangda and Inspector Sandeep Ahlawat of DFSC department in case of negligence in Ladwa in paddy procurement work. The Chief Minister was visiting Pipli, Ladwa and Babain Mandi on Friday.
Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, while visiting the grain market, instructed the concerned officials that the work of purchasing paddy should be done smoothly and its lifting should also be done in a time bound manner. Payment to farmers for their crops should also be made on time. He also said that all the basic facilities should be available to the farmers and commission agents so that the farmers do not face any problem in selling their crops in the mandis. He also said that the concerned officers should ensure that as soon as the farmer brings his paddy crop to the market, his paddy is purchased at MSP.

Acting Chief Minister of Haryana Naib Singh Saini on Friday visited Pipli, Ladwa and Babain grain markets of Kurukshetra and took stock of the ongoing procurement of paddy and directed the officials to settle the complaints of the farmers. Answering the questions of journalists, he said that officials have been instructed to buy each grain of paddy and said that farmers should not face any kind of problem related to payment.

During Saini’s visit to Kurukshetra on Friday, Additional Chief Secretary of Social Justice and Empowerment Department G Anupama, Deputy Commissioner Rajesh Jogpal and Superintendent of Police Varun Singla were also with him. Saini checked the moisture content of paddy using a moisture meter during his visit. The statement said that he talked to farmers, commission agents and representatives of farmer unions to gather information about the paddy procurement process.

He said that if anyone buys paddy at a price even one paisa less than the minimum support price, the authorities will investigate.
