महाकुंभ 2025 में प्रयागराज में आने वाले किसी भी श्रद्धालु या कल्पवासी को भूखा नहीं सोने दिया जाएगा। योगी सरकार ने मेले के क्षेत्र में इसके लिए व्यापक तैयारियाँ की हैं। पूरे मेले में श्रद्धालुओं के लिए राशन की मुफ्त सुविधा उपलब्ध कराई जाएगी। कल्पवासियों और कई दिनों तक महाकुंभ में रहने वाले श्रद्धालुओं के लिए राशन कार्ड बनाए जाएंगे, जिनसे उन्हें राशन मिल सकेगा। पहले से राशन कार्ड रखने वाले श्रद्धालुओं को भी राशन उपलब्ध कराया जाएगा। इसके लिए खाद्य एवं लॉजिस्टिक्स विभाग द्वारा पूरे मेले के क्षेत्र में 160 उचित मूल्य राशन दुकानें खोली जाएंगी, जहां से जनवरी और फरवरी में राशन दिया जाएगा। राशन के भंडार के लिए 5 गोदाम भी बनाए जाएंगे। इस पूरे प्रोजेक्ट पर 43 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक खर्च किए जाएंगे।
