When will paddy be procured in UP?
Paddy procurement started in Western Uttar Pradesh from 1st October, which will continue till 31st January 2025. During this period, paddy is being procured in Bareilly, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Agra, Aligarh, Meerut, Jhansi and Hardoi, Sitapur and Lakhimpur Kheri of Lucknow division. Whereas in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, paddy procurement started from 1st November, which will continue till 28th February.
