मध्य प्रदेश के किसानों ने मसाले की फसलों के उत्पादन में एक नया रिकॉर्ड बनाया है। मध्य प्रदेश ने 2023-24 में 54 लाख टन से अधिक मसालों का उत्पादन करके देश में पहली स्थिति हासिल की है। इसके लिए कृषि एवं खाद्य प्रसंस्करण मंत्री नारायण सिंह कुशवाहा ने राज्य के किसानों को बधाई दी है। उन्होंने इस सफलता का श्रेय किसानों की मेहनत और समर्पण को दिया है।
कृषि को लाभकारी बनाने के तरीके
राज्य के किसानों ने पिछले 4 वर्षों में मसाले की फसलों का उत्पादन 2 लाख 16 हजार मीट्रिक टन बढ़ा दिया है। इस राज्य का मिर्च उत्पादन में दूसरा स्थान है। खाद्य प्रसंस्करण मंत्री कुशवाहा ने कहा कि किसानों के लिए जरूरी है कि वे पारंपरिक फसलों के साथ-साथ धनदौलत वाली फसलों जैसे धनिया, हल्दी, मिर्च, अदरक, लहसुन और जीरा उगाएं। ये मसाले जल्दी तैयार हो जाते हैं और बाजार में भी अच्छे दाम मिलते हैं। ऐसे में ये फसलें किसानों के लिए अतिरिक्त आय का स्रोत बन सकती हैं।

यह राज्य मिर्च उत्पादन में आगे
हरी मिर्च के उत्पादन में कर्नाटका सभी राज्यों से आगे है। यहाँ की मिट्टी और जलवायु हरी मिर्च की खेती के लिए अनुकूल है। बागवानी बोर्ड के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, कर्नाटका कुल हरी मिर्च उत्पादन का 18.75 प्रतिशत अकेले उत्पादन करता है। इसके बाद मध्य प्रदेश आता है, जहाँ कुल 18.62 प्रतिशत हरी मिर्च का उत्पादन होता है।
फूलों की खेती अपनाने का सुझाव
मंत्री ने किसानों से मसाले की फसलों के साथ-साथ फूलों की खेती करने की सलाह दी। उन्होंने कहा कि इन क्षेत्रों में भी किसानों को राज्य और केंद्रीय सरकार से सब्सिडी और अन्य सुविधाएं मिल रही हैं। इसके अलावा, सरकार की नर्सरियों से किसानों को बेहतर गुणवत्ता के बीज और पौधे भी दिए जा रहे हैं।
फसलों को बचाने की योजनाएं

This state is at the forefront in chilli production

The minister advised farmers to adopt floriculture (flower cultivation) along with spice crops. He said that even in these areas, farmers are getting subsidies and other facilities from the state and central government. Minister Narayan Singh Kushwaha has also assured to provide help to farmers in the field of food processing. He said that separate plans have been made for cold storage, warehouse and storage facilities. Under these schemes, farmers are also being given subsidy, training and technical assistance, so that they can become capable of saving and storing crops.
