लेखराम ने अपने करियर की शुरुआत एक कॉर्पोरेट जॉब से की थी। एनएबीएल (नेशनल एक्रेडिटेशन बोर्ड फॉर टेस्टिंग एंड कैलिब्रेशन लेबोरेटरीज) के गुरुग्राम के एक लैब में साढ़े छह साल काम करने के बाद, उन्हें एहसास हुआ कि यह उनका असली लक्ष्य नहीं है।

महानगर की व्यस्त जीवनशैली और गाँव के मिट्टी से जुड़े रहने की चाहत ने उन्हें अपने गाँव लौटने के लिए प्रेरित किया। लेखराम ने प्राकृतिक खेती शुरू की। शुरू में, यूट्यूब से प्रेरित होकर उन्होंने एलोवेरा की खेती की, लेकिन उन्हें नुकसान का सामना करना पड़ा। फिर भी, उन्होंने हिम्मत नहीं हारने का फैसला किया और नई खेती की तकनीकों का अध्ययन जारी रखा।

छोटी शुरुआत, बड़ी सफलता

लेखराम का सफर एक छोटी सी ज़मीन से शुरू हुआ और अब यह 500 एकड़ में फैले एक मॉडल फार्म तक पहुँच गया है। यहाँ वे फल और सब्जियों की खेती करते हैं। खास बात यह है कि यह सब प्राकृतिक तकनीक से होता है, जिससे रासायनिक मुक्त फल और सब्जियाँ उगाई जाती हैं।

कम लागत और उच्च गुणवत्ता के कारण, उनकी फसलें बाजार में दोगुने दाम पर बिकती हैं। लेखराम का मानना है कि प्राकृतिक खेती की विधियाँ न केवल पर्यावरण के लिए फायदेमंद हैं, बल्कि इससे अधिक उपज और लाभ भी मिलता है। वो कृषि में रासायनिक उर्वरकों और दवाओं का उपयोग नहीं करते हैं, बल्कि घर में बने प्राकृतिक उर्वरकों और जैविक विधियों का सहारा लेते हैं।

In the initial days, inspired by YouTube, he started aloe vera cultivation, but had to face losses. Despite this, he did not lose courage and continued studying new farming techniques.

They do not use chemical fertilizers and medicines in their farming. Instead, resort to home-made natural fertilizers and organic methods.

Chappan Bhog Vatika and turnover worth crores

Lekhram has developed a Chhappan Bhog Vatika on his 22 acres of land, where spices, Ayurvedic medicines and various types of fruits are produced. Special varieties of lemons are grown in their fields, which attract the attention of the customers. The annual turnover of Lekhram is Rs 12 crore. One reason for his success is that he got organic certification for his farms and cowsheds, which increased the demand and price of his products in the market.

Lekhram did not limit himself to crops only and developed farming as a business. He made agriculture a profitable business through the cultivation of horticulture, spices, medicines and fruits.
