लखनऊ के वृंदावन योजना मैदान में 4 दिवसीय कृषि भारत-2024 प्रदर्शनी चल रही है। यहाँ पहुँचे मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने उत्तर प्रदेश की कृषि क्षमताओं का उल्लेख करते हुए कहा कि राज्य की 17 प्रतिशत जनसंख्या निवास करती है और राज्य का कृषि उत्पादन देश के कुल कृषि उत्पादन का 20 प्रतिशत है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य में cultivable भूमि का अनुपात भले ही कम हो, लेकिन उत्पादन की संभावनाएँ बहुत बड़ी हैं। डिजिटल कृषि और तकनीक के माध्यम से हम उत्पादन को तीन से चार गुना बढ़ा सकते हैं। मुख्यमंत्री ने बताया कि कई योजनाएँ कृषि लागत को कम करने और रासायनिक खादों पर निर्भरता कम करके प्राकृतिक संसाधनों के उपयोग को बढ़ाने के लिए लागू की जा रही हैं।
