हरियाणा सरकार ने न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य पर धान की खरीदारी शुरू की है और अब तक 46,000 मीट्रिक टन फसल खरीदी जा चुकी है। मंगलवार शाम को जारी किए गए आधिकारिक बयान के अनुसार, धान की खरीदारी 27 सितंबर से शुरू हुई थी। अब तक 241 मंडियों और खरीद केंद्रों से 46,000 मीट्रिक टन धान खरीद किया गया है, जिससे 7,500 से अधिक किसानों को लाभ हुआ है।

इसी बीच, पंजाब में धान की PR-126 किस्म के नकली और हाइब्रिड बीजों की बिक्री का मुद्दा एक बार फिर चर्चा में है। शेलर संचालक इसको लेकर बहुत नाराज हैं। उन्होंने नई फसल को स्टोर करने से इनकार कर दिया है। यह निर्णय चावल मिल मालिकों की आम बैठक के बाद लिया गया। ऑल इंडिया राइस मिलर्स एसोसिएशन के अध्यक्ष तरसेम लाल ने बताया कि पिछले साल हाइब्रिड किस्म का धान बोया गया था, लेकिन टूटे हुए अनाज का प्रतिशत 30 से 45 प्रतिशत था।
बॉयकॉट का निर्णय क्यों लिया गया
मिलिंग के बाद चावल की उपज केवल 100 किलोग्राम धान में से 62 किलोग्राम रही, जबकि मिलर्स को अपने पास से 67 प्रतिशत धान का स्टॉक देना था। यदि उपज कम होती है, तो मिलर्स को नुकसान की भरपाई करनी होगी। तरसेम लाल ने कहा कि इस मौसम में भी इसी स्थिति का सामना करना पड़ेगा। इसलिए, PR-126 किस्म के भंडारण का बहिष्कार करने का एकमत निर्णय लिया गया है।
