After this, when a thorough investigation was carried out, the team found additional stock of about 3,000 quintals of paddy from Bihar inside the mill.
Mill operator could not show documents of illegal stock
The administrative team said that the mill owners could not produce the necessary documents for the stock and the CCTV cameras installed in the mill were also not working. Apart from this, there was no tagging on the sacks of paddy, which is a violation of CMR policy. The mill owner had paid market fee and Haryana Rural Development Fund for two trucks, but the mill owner could not show any document for the remaining stock lying there.
Truck carrying paddy from Bihar caught on the way
According to the report, District Marketing Enforcement Officer Saurabh Chaudhary said that the report of this matter has been submitted to the Chief Administrator of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board (HSAMB), Deputy Commissioner Karnal and Additional Deputy Commissioner. He said that the inspection team has caught a truck loaded with paddy from Bihar on the road. After interrogation, the driver told that he had brought paddy from Bihar and was going to a mill located in Kutail. The Secretary of Gharaunda Market Committee has been instructed to inspect the records and stock of the mill.
