किसान अंबिका ने कहा कि जबलपुर की जैविक हल्दी विदेशों में मसालों में सबसे अधिक मांग में है। इसलिए, अब शाहडोल के किसानों के एक समूह के साथ मिलकर हल्दी का क्षेत्र बढ़ाने की तैयारी की जा रही है। इसकी खेती के लिए लगभग 200 हेक्टेयर में चर्चा चल रही है। अंबिका पटेल ने बताया कि सेवेम किस्म की जैविक हल्दी को मध्य प्रदेश राज्य जैविक प्रमाणन से प्रमाणित किया गया है। प्रयोगशाला में परीक्षण करने पर हल्दी की गुणवत्ता में कुरकुमिन की मात्रा 5 से 7 प्रतिशत और तेल की मात्रा 4 से 5 प्रतिशत पाई गई है। उन्होंने कहा कि बढ़ती मांग को देखते हुए, वह इसके उत्पादन को बढ़ाने पर काम कर रही हैं।
