हिमाचल सरकार प्राकृतिक खेती को बढ़ावा दे रही है और इसके तहत उगाए गए फसलों के लिए किसानों को न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (MSP) से अधिक मूल्य दिया जा रहा है। अब सरकार ने ‘हम्भोग’ नाम से प्राकृतिक खेती के तहत उगाई गई मकई का आटा लाने की घोषणा की है। इसके लिए 4000 से अधिक क्विंटल मकई खरीदी गई है।

हिमाचल प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने बताया कि सरकार जल्द ही ‘हम्भोग’ नाम से प्राकृतिक खेती से बने मकई के आटे को लॉन्च करेगी। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य भर में 1506 किसान परिवारों से 4000 क्विंटल से अधिक मकई खरीदी गई है, जिसमें लाहौल-स्पीति और किन्नौर के जनजातीय इलाकों को छोड़कर सभी क्षेत्रों से मकई लिया गया है। सबसे अधिक 1140 क्विंटल मकई सोलन से खरीदी गई, इसके बाद चंबा से 810 क्विंटल और मंडी से 650 क्विंटल मकई खरीदी गई।
मकई का मूल्य MSP से 775 रुपये अधिक
एक आधिकारिक बयान में, मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हिमाचल प्रदेश देश का पहला राज्य है जिसने प्राकृतिक खेती से उगाई गई गेहूं को 40 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम और मकई को 30 रुपये प्रति किलोग्राम न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य (MSP) से अधिक मूल्य देने की घोषणा की है। सामान्य तरीके से उगाई गई मकई का न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य 2225 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल है। लेकिन, प्राकृतिक खेती के तहत उगाई गई मकई के लिए राज्य सरकार 775 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल अधिक दे रही है। इसका मतलब है कि 25 अक्टूबर 2024 से मकई को 3000 रुपये प्रति क्विंटल की कीमत पर खरीदा जा रहा है।
प्राकृतिक खेती 35,000 हेक्टेयर में हो रही है

He said that more than 4000 quintals of maize has been purchased from 1506 farmer families doing natural farming in the entire state except the tribal districts of Lahaul-Spiti and Kinnaur. He said that the maximum purchase of 1140 quintals was made from Solan district. After that 810 quintals of maize has been purchased from Chamba and 650 quintals of maize has been purchased from Mandi.
Price for maize is Rs 775 more than MSP
In an official statement, the Chief Minister said that Himachal Pradesh is the first state in the country which has given a price of Rs 40 per kg for wheat produced through natural farming and Rs 30 per kg for maize more than the Minimum Support Price (MSP). Let us tell you that the minimum support price for maize grown in the normal way has been fixed at Rs 2225 per quintal. But, for maize grown through natural farming method, Himachal government is paying Rs 775 per quintal more than the MSP. That means, maize is being purchased at the price of Rs 3000 per quintal from October 25, 2024.
Natural farming is happening in 35 thousand hectares
Himachal Pradesh government is promoting natural farming on 35000 hectares of land, benefiting 1.98 lakh farmers. Also, more than 1.5 lakh farmers have been certified free. The Chief Minister said that the state government has strengthened the infrastructure in 10 mandis to facilitate marketing of natural farming produce. He said that about 90 percent of the state’s population lives in villages and to strengthen the rural economy, the government is starting many initiatives to provide direct financial assistance to the farmers.
