उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार कृषि उत्पादन बढ़ाने के लिए तेजी से काम कर रही है। इसी संदर्भ में, योगी सरकार ने किसानों को उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले बीज प्रदान करने के लिए यूपी का पहला बीज पार्क स्थापित करने की योजना बनाई है। यह (बिज पार्क) लखनऊ में स्थापित किया जाएगा। राज्य के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में कुल 5 ऐसे बीज पार्क बनाने की योजना है। पहले बीज पार्क का निर्माण राजधानी लखनऊ में किया जाएगा, जो लगभग 200 एकड़ में फैलेगा। वर्तमान में यूपी अन्य राज्यों से बड़े पैमाने पर बीज आयात करता है। राज्य सरकार का उद्देश्य इन बीज पार्कों की स्थापना के माध्यम से यूपी को बीज में आत्मनिर्भर बनाना है।
5 बीज पार्क बनाने की योजना
सरकार इन बीज पार्कों को सार्वजनिक-निजी भागीदारी (PPP मॉडल) के तहत चलाएगी। राज्य के पश्चिमी क्षेत्र, तराई क्षेत्र, केंद्रीय क्षेत्र, बुंदेलखंड और पूर्वी क्षेत्र में कुल पांच बीज पार्क बनाए जाने की योजना है। इन पार्कों में उन्नत हाइब्रिड बीजों का उत्पादन किया जाएगा, ताकि यूपी के किसान बेहतर गुणवत्ता वाले बीज आसानी से प्राप्त कर सकें। राज्य सरकार की इस योजना के बारे में जानकारी देते हुए यूपी के कृषि मंत्री सूर्य प्रताप शाही ने कहा कि यूपी में हर साल 50 लाख क्विंटल बीज की आवश्यकता होती है, जबकि वर्तमान में राज्य में केवल 30 लाख क्विंटल बीज का उत्पादन होता है।
बीज पार्क के निर्माण से रोजगार के अवसर बढ़ेंगे
बीज पार्क की स्थापना के बाद, किसानों को बीज खरीदने में कम खर्च करना पड़ेगा। वर्तमान में, यूपी हर साल देश के अन्य राज्यों से 3000 करोड़ रुपये के बीज खरीदता है। ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि इन बीज पार्कों की मदद से राज्य के कुल खर्च में बड़ी कमी आएगी। बीज पार्क का निर्माण रोजगार के अवसर भी बढ़ाएगा। कृषि विभाग के आंकड़ों के अनुसार, यूपी 22 प्रतिशत गेहूं के बीज अन्य राज्यों से आयात करता है। धान के मामले में यह आंकड़ा 51 प्रतिशत, मक्का के लिए 74 प्रतिशत और दाल व तिलहन के बीज का आधे से अधिक आयात किया जाता है। अब किसानों को उच्च गुणवत्ता के बीज कम कीमत पर मिलेंगे और उन्हें बीज के लिए दर-दर नहीं भटकना पड़ेगा।
किसानों को मिलेेगा बेहतरीन गुणवत्ता का बीज
उत्तर प्रदेश में बीज पार्क स्थापित करने के संबंध में कृषि मंत्री सूर्य प्रताप शाही की अध्यक्षता में एक बैठक हुई, जिसमें यूपी में बीज पार्क स्थापित करने पर सहमति बनी। हाल ही में हैदराबाद के बीज पार्क के अधिकारियों से सुझाव लिए गए। कृषि मंत्री शाही ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश में बीज पार्क के निर्माण से किसानों को कम लागत में बेहतर गुणवत्ता के बीज मिलेंगे। उत्तर प्रदेश में बीज पार्क स्थापित करने के लिए पर्याप्त भूमि उपलब्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि बीज पार्क के माध्यम से किसानों को कम दरों पर बीज उपलब्ध कराए जाएंगे ताकि उनकी पैदावार की गुणवत्ता को बढ़ाया जा सके। साथ ही, अनाज फसलों और मूंगफली की खेती के लिए, हैदराबाद स्थित ICRISET से बेहतरीन गुणवत्ता के बीज लिए गए हैं।
