Modi remarked that the NDA’s people-friendly efforts resonated strongly across the states.

“I thank the people of various states who blessed the NDA candidates in the by-elections. We will leave no stone unturned in fulfilling their dreams and aspirations,” he mentioned.

He expressed pride in the efforts of NDA workers on the ground who worked hard and communicated the party’s governance agenda to the public.

“After Haryana, Maharashtra has also sent a strong message of unity; Prime Minister Modi stated during his address at the BJP headquarters, ‘This has become a great mantra for the country.’”

Modi praised Maharashtra’s decision, calling it a “historic choice,” and described it as a firm rejection of the opposition’s negative politics. He mentioned that this includes the attempts by Congress to undermine the party’s second mandate and to bring back provisions like Article 370 and avoid division based on caste and religion.

He highlighted that Maharashtra became the sixth state to choose the BJP consecutively after Goa and Gujarat, following the party’s successes in Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.

“Every segment of society voted for the BJP… Congress has failed to grasp this change. They refuse to understand reality. The voters don’t want instability; they are with ‘nation first,'” Modi said, targeting Congress.

Jharkhand results a win for the Constitution: Rahul

Priyanka Gandhi secured a massive victory in the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election. After being elected from both Raebareli and Wayanad in the April-May parliamentary elections, Rahul Gandhi vacated this seat.

Meanwhile, addressing reporters at the AICC headquarters, Congress General Secretary Jairam Ramesh acknowledged their party’s loss in Maharashtra but emphasized they would continue raising the issues that emerged after the parliamentary elections.

“There is no doubt that Maharashtra’s level playing field was deliberately disrupted. The election results are unexpected, quite surprising, and defies explanation,” Ramesh stated.
