In a conversation with IANS, Gaurav Vallabh stated, “Our government respects all farmers. We salute the contribution of farmers to the country. However, I request my fellow farmers not to fall into the hands of these opposition political parties.”
“Regarding MSP (Minimum Support Price), the increase in MSP over the last 10 years is unprecedented. The work done for farmers’ welfare in the last decade has never happened before,” he added.
“Whether it’s the Per Drop More Crop (PDM) scheme, the PM-Kisan scheme providing ₹6,000 per year to each family, or making neem-coated urea easily available, we understand your issues and have worked on them over the last 10 years and will continue to do so in the future.”
“The government’s doors are always open for farmers. Whether they want to meet with ministers, officials, experts, or agricultural scientists, the government is available 24/7 for farmers… They should come to the table and discuss. The Modi government is committed to resolving all their issues,” Vallabh told IANS.
The BJP leader also responded to Iltija Mufti’s statement that ‘Hindutva is a disease’ and questioned the silence of leaders from the opposition INDIA bloc regarding the controversial remark.

“Now, a component of the INDI alliance has termed Hindutva a disease… What is a disease is the mentality that led to the killing of millions of innocent people in Kashmir. That is labeled as a disease, just like the spread of terrorism. When Hindus are being selectively killed in Bangladesh, when Hindu saints are jailed, this mentality is deemed a disease.”
He also urged the Jammu and Kashmir government to immediately arrest and imprison those who disrupt communal harmony and misuse Hinduism.
Speaking about the recent tensions in the INDIA bloc arising from Mamata Banerjee’s desire to lead the alliance, Vallabh said, “The only aim of the opposition alliance was to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but people have rejected them. Therefore, the balloon called the INDI alliance has burst. There is no alliance by that name left in the country.”
