एकीकृत ग्रामीण विकास परियोजना/ट्रिगर के अंतर्गत, यूरोपीय संघ ने बाकू, अज़रबैजान के पांच दिवसीय अध्ययन दौरे पर ताजिकिस्तान के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल का समर्थन किया।
अध्ययन दौरे में आर्थिक विकास और व्यापार मंत्रालय, कृषि मंत्रालय, उद्योग और नई प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय और निर्यात एजेंसी सहित ताजिकिस्तान मंत्रालयों और एजेंसियों के प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया।

The European Union supported a delegation from Tajikistan on a five-day study tour in Baku, Azerbaijan, as part of an integrated rural development project called TRIGGER.
Representatives from various Tajik ministries participated in the study tour, including the Ministries of Economic Development and Trade, Agriculture, Industry and New Technologies, and the Export Agency.
The main aim of the study tour was to familiarize the delegation with Azerbaijan’s experiences in promoting the export of agricultural products. This includes knowledge about logistics, diversification, standardization, certification of export products, and the establishment of joint ventures and export centers, aligned with Tajikistan’s State Export Development Program for 2021-2025.
During the tour, the delegation visited several companies, learning about their practices in processing agricultural goods before storage and their logistics in international and regional markets. Notable companies included “Absheron Logistics,” “Balhurma,” “Crispa Snacks LLC,” “Absheron Saffron Limited,” and “Azersun Holding.”
Additionally, within the framework of the study tour, on July 11, 2024, Tajikistan’s Export Agency and AZPROMO signed documents (agreements/memoranda) aimed at promoting agricultural exports, following a directive from the Tajik president’s office.
The TRIGGER project is a joint initiative between the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by GIZ to enhance the added value of agriculture, improve water security and sustainability, increase productivity in selected value chains, support market development, export readiness, promote entrepreneurship, and provide economic policy advice in Tajikistan.
