एकीकृत ग्रामीण विकास परियोजना/ट्रिगर के अंतर्गत, यूरोपीय संघ ने बाकू, अज़रबैजान के पांच दिवसीय अध्ययन दौरे पर ताजिकिस्तान के एक प्रतिनिधिमंडल का समर्थन किया।
अध्ययन दौरे में आर्थिक विकास और व्यापार मंत्रालय, कृषि मंत्रालय, उद्योग और नई प्रौद्योगिकी मंत्रालय और निर्यात एजेंसी सहित ताजिकिस्तान मंत्रालयों और एजेंसियों के प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया।

As part of the Integrated Rural Development Project/Trigger, the European Union supported a delegation from Tajikistan during a five-day study tour in Baku, Azerbaijan.
Representatives from various ministries and agencies of Tajikistan, including the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies, and the Export Agency, participated in the study tour.
The purpose of this study tour was to learn about Azerbaijan’s experiences in enhancing the export of agricultural products, logistics, diversification, standardization, and certification of export products, as well as establishing joint ventures and export centers. This aligns with Tajikistan’s State Export Development Program for 2021-2025.

It is important to note that during the study tour, the Tajikistan government’s Export Agency and AZPROMO signed documents (agreements/memorandums) under the directive from the President’s office of the Republic of Tajikistan dated July 11, 2024, to promote the export of agricultural goods.
During the visit, members of the Tajik delegation learned about the experiences of companies such as “Absheron Logistics,” “Balhurma,” “Crispa Snacks LLC,” “Absheron Saffron Limited,” and “Azersun Holding.” Participants became familiar with the processing of agricultural goods before storage and the logistics of these goods in international and regional markets.

The Integrated Rural Development Project (IRDPI)/Trigger towards Rural Inclusive Development and Economic Resilience is a joint project of the European Union and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by GIZ to promote added value in agriculture.
