प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने शनिवार को महाराष्ट्र में एक कार्यक्रम के दौरान प्रधान मंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि योजना (PM Kisan) की 18वीं किश्त जारी की। इस बार 9.4 करोड़ से अधिक किसानों को 18वीं किश्त का लाभ मिला। इसके लिए केंद्र सरकार को 20 हजार करोड़ रुपये से अधिक खर्च करने पड़े। ओडिशा की बात करें, तो यहां 31.51 लाख किसानों को 18वीं किश्त का लाभ मिला है। उनके खातों में 689.11 करोड़ रुपये की वित्तीय सहायता पहुंची है। यह जानकारी मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण माहजी ने दी।
मुख्यमंत्री मोहन चरण माहजी ने बताया कि जून में 29.73 लाख किसानों ने 17वीं किश्त पाई थी, जबकि इस बार 1.77 लाख अधिक किसानों को पीएम किसान सम्मान निधि का लाभ मिला है। उन्होंने कहा कि राज्य सरकार का लक्ष्य है कि सभी योग्य किसानों को पीएम किसान योजना में शामिल किया जाए। इसके लिए नुआखाई से एक दो महीने का विशेष अभियान शुरू होगा। उन्होंने किसानों से अपील की कि वे योजना के लाभ लेने के लिए ब्लॉक स्तर के जन सेवा केंद्रों में अपना नाम रजिस्टर करवाएं। यह सुविधा सीएम किसान योजना पर भी लागू होती है।

वहीं, बिहार के 76,18,784 किसानों को प्रधानमंत्री किसान सम्मान निधि योजना की 18वीं किश्त का लाभ मिला है। इसके तहत छोटे और सीमांत किसानों के बैंक खातों में लगभग 1,152 करोड़ रुपये ट्रांसफर किए गए हैं। बिहार कृषि मंत्री मंगल पांडेय ने कहा कि प्रधान मंत्री ने बिहार के 76,18,784 किसानों के बैंक खातों में 18वीं किश्त के तहत 1,552 करोड़ रुपये ट्रांसफर किए हैं। इसके लिए मैं देश के सफल प्रधानमंत्री का आभार व्यक्त करता हूं।
