उत्तर प्रदेश के औरैया जिले के बिधूना तहसील के एक किसान, आदित्य दुबे, अब खबरों में हैं। यह चर्चा उनके बागवानी के बारे में है। आदित्य दुबे, जो रामगढ़ गांव के निवासी हैं, ने 20 बिघा जमीन में बागवानी की है। खास बात यह है कि उन्होंने 20 बिघा जमीन में चार सौ चंदन के पौधे लगाए हैं। ये सभी पौधे अच्छी तरह से बढ़ रहे हैं और भविष्य में कमाई के लिए एक मजबूत आधार बना रहे हैं। इस क्षेत्र में चंदन की खेती पहली बार की गई है, इसलिए आदित्य दुबे की खेती चर्चा का विषय बन गई है।

किसान आदित्य दुबे खुद चंदन के पौधों की देखभाल और निगरानी करते हैं। उन्होंने अपनी बागवानी में अंजीर भी उगाया है। इस क्षेत्र में कभी किसी ने गरम मसाला के पौधे नहीं देखे, लेकिन आदित्य दुबे ने गरम मसाला के पौधे भी लगाए हैं। आदित्य दुबे का कहना है कि सब्जी की खेती में गरम मसाला सबसे महंगा होता है और लोग इसे खरीदने में कठिनाई महसूस करते हैं। लेकिन इसके एक पत्ते का इस्तेमाल करने से सब्जियों का स्वाद बढ़ जाता है।

चंदन के साथ अन्य फसलों की खेती

किसान आदित्य दुबे ने बताया कि चंदन का पौधा 14 साल में तैयार होगा। इसकी देखभाल खुद करनी होती है क्योंकि चंदन का पौधा खुद खाना नहीं खाता; इसके लिए भोजन की व्यवस्था करनी पड़ती है। अब इसके किनारे लाल घास की बाड़ लगाई गई है। इसके पास अरहर के पौधे लगाए गए हैं ताकि इसकी खाद्य आवश्यकताएं पूरी हो सकें।

किसान आदित्य दुबे ने चंदन के अलावा अंजीर और खजूर भी लगाए हैं। उन्होंने अपने बाग में बड़ी संख्या में सहजन के पौधे भी लगाए हैं और लगातार उनसे सब्जियां प्राप्त कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि इस बागवानी से अच्छा मुनाफा मिल रहा है। फसलें कम मेहनत में अच्छी कमाई कर रही हैं, और जब चंदन के पौधे तैयार होंगे, तो उनकी लकड़ी बहुत अच्छे दाम में बिकेगी।

उन्होंने ‘आज तक’ को बताया कि उन्होंने इस प्रकार की खेती के लिए उमर्दा के कृषि विभाग के अधिकारी डीएस यादव से संपर्क किया। डीएस यादव ने आदित्य दुबे को अंजीर, चंदन, आम और खजूर के लिए अच्छे पौधे दिए और उन्हें इनकी खेती और देखभाल के बारे में पूरी जानकारी दी। इसी जानकारी के आधार पर आदित्य दुबे ने अपनी बागवानी आगे बढ़ाई।

आदित्य बने अन्य किसानों के लिए प्रेरणा

आदित्य दुबे ने बताया कि औरैया जिले के साइंस पार्क के अधीक्षक अनूप चतुर्वेदी उन्हें नियमित जानकारी देते हैं। उनके मार्गदर्शन के आधार पर हम चंदन के पौधों की देखभाल कर रहे हैं और अन्य फसलों की खेती कर रहे हैं। आस-पास के किसान आदित्य दुबे को प्रेरणा मानते हुए विभिन्न फसलें उगाने लगे हैं। आस-पास के किसान कहते हैं कि आदित्य दुबे ने इस प्रकार की खेती कर के एक मिसाल कायम की है। वे भी आदित्य दुबे से सीख लेकर चंदन की खेती शुरू करने की योजना बना रहे हैं। ‘आज तक’ के साथ विशेष बातचीत में उन्होंने बताया कि उनके बाग में खेती कैसे की जा रही है और कैसे मुनाफा मिलेगा।(रिपोर्ट: सुर्या शर्मा)

Farmer Aditya Dubey takes care and monitoring the sandalwood plants himself. He has also cultivated figs in this gardening. No one had ever seen garam masala plants in this area, but Aditya Dubey has also planted garam masala plants. Aditya Dubey says that in vegetable farming, garam masala is the most expensive and people are able to buy it with great difficulty. But adding one of its leaves gives equal taste to the vegetables.

Cultivation of many crops with sandalwood

Farmer Aditya Dubey told that the sandalwood plant will be ready in 14 years. You have to take care of it yourself. The sandalwood plant itself does not take food; arrangements have to be made for its food. Now a red grass hedge has been planted on its side. Pigeon pea plants have been planted near it so that its food needs will be fulfilled.

Farmer Aditya Dubey has also planted figs and dates in the garden along with sandalwood. He has also planted drumstick in large numbers in his garden and is continuously getting vegetables from it. They say that this gardening gives good profits. While horticulture is giving good profits with less farming, once the sandalwood plants are ready, the wood will be sold at a very high price and there will be good profits.

He told ‘Aaj Tak’ that he contacted Agriculture Department Officer of Umarda DS Yadav for this type of farming. It was DS Yadav who got Aditya Dubey good plants from the Agriculture Department for the cultivation of figs, sandalwood, mango and dates. He gave complete information about how to plant these plants and how to take care of them. On the basis of this information, Aditya Dubey took his gardening forward.

Aditya became an inspiration for other farmers

Aditya Dubey told that Anoop Chaturvedi, Superintendent of Science Park of Auraiya district, keeps giving regular information. Based on his guidelines, we are taking care of sandalwood plants and cultivating other crops. The nearby farmers are cultivating different crops considering Aditya Dubey as their inspiration. Nearby farmers say that Aditya Dubey has set an example by doing this type of farming. He says that he will also take up sandalwood cultivation by taking lessons from Aditya Dubey.
