देश के कई राज्यों में ठंड का असर बढ़ रहा है। इसी बीच, भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (IMD) ने चक्रवाती तूफान फेंगल के बारे में जानकारी दी है। IMD ने बताया कि दक्षिण-पश्चिम बंगाल की खाड़ी में बना गहरा depresson लगभग 10 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की गति से उत्तर की ओर बढ़ रहा है। यह चक्रवात 26 नवंबर 2024 को भारतीय मानक समय (IST) के अनुसार रात 11:30 बजे त्रिंकोमाली के दक्षिण-पूर्व में लगभग 190 किलोमीटर, नागपट्टिनम के दक्षिण-पूर्व में 470 किलोमीटर, पुडुचेरी के दक्षिण-दक्षिण पूर्व में 580 किलोमीटर और चेन्नई के दक्षिण-दक्षिण पूर्व में 670 किलोमीटर केंद्रित था।
इसका आगे बढ़ना उत्तर-उत्तर-पश्चिम दिशा की ओर जारी रहने की संभावना है और 27 नवंबर को यह चक्रवाती तूफान में बदल सकता है। इसके बाद, यह तमिलनाडु के तट की ओर उत्तर-उत्तर-पश्चिम दिशा में बढ़ेगा और अगले 2 दिनों में श्रीलंका के तट के पास से गुजरेगा।
हिमालयी क्षेत्रों में मौसम में बदलाव
वहीं, मौसम पूर्वानुमान एजेंसी स्काईमेट के अनुसार, 29 नवंबर से पश्चिमी हिमालय क्षेत्र में एक नया पश्चिमी विक्षोभ सक्रिय होने वाला है, जिसके कारण उत्तर भारत के पहाड़ी क्षेत्रों में मौसम में बदलाव की संभावना है। IMD के अनुसार, राष्ट्रीय राजधानी दिल्ली और उसके आसपास के क्षेत्रों में आज न्यूनतम तापमान में 1 डिग्री सेल्सियस की गिरावट दर्ज की गई है।

कल न्यूनतम तापमान 12 डिग्री सेल्सियस दर्ज किया गया था। वहीं, अधिकतम तापमान स्थिर रहेगा। अगले दो से तीन दिनों में न्यूनतम और अधिकतम तापमान में कमी की संभावना है। दिल्ली-एनसीआर में वायु गुणवत्ता “बहुत खराब” श्रेणी में रही और आज भी ऐसा ही रहने की संभावना है।
इन स्थानों पर बारिश की चेतावनी

It was centered about 190 km south-east of Trincomalee, 470 km south-east of Nagapattinam, 580 km south-southeast of Puducherry and 670 km south-southeast of Chennai at 2330 hrs IST yesterday, 26 November 2024.
It is very likely to continue moving north-northwest and further intensify into a cyclonic storm on 27 November. Thereafter, it will move north-northwestwards towards Tamil Nadu coast while skirting Sri Lanka coast during next 2 days.
Weather will change in hilly areas
At the same time, according to weather forecast agency Skymet, a new Western Disturbance will be active over the Western Himalayan region from November 29, due to which there is a possibility of change in the weather in the hilly areas of North India.
