पूर्वी चंपारण जिला बागवानी के सहायक निदेशक, विकास कुमार ने ‘डीडी न्यूज़ बिहार’ को बताया कि किसानों को पपीते की खेती के लिए सब्सिडी दी जा रही है। पपीते की खेती की लागत 60 हजार रुपए है, जिसमें किसानों को 75 प्रतिशत सब्सिडी मिलती है। सब्सिडी का प्रावधान दो वर्षों के लिए है। पहले वर्ष में किसान को खेती के खर्च का 75 प्रतिशत सब्सिडी मिलता है और दूसरे वर्ष में 25 प्रतिशत सब्सिडी दी जाती है।

The cost of papaya cultivation is Rs 60 thousand in which 75 percent subsidy is given to the farmers. The provision of subsidy is for two years. In the first year, the farmer is given 75 percent subsidy of the cost of farming and in the second year, 25 percent subsidy is given.
